Econergy Transport

The Éconergie Transport program is an energy efficiency program developed in 2007 with the cooperation of Énergium GES / GHG.

This program has for objective the reduction and the quantification of greenhouse gas emissions ( GHG), and to reduce the quantities of chemical waste rejected in the environment.

To acheive this, Prolab Technolub developed eco-products which contribute directly to greenhouse gas emissions reductions. Prolab have set up a program of specialized lubrication training; elaborated a process of follow-ups to make sure that the objectives will be reached; set up a distribution network which will assure the management of the inventories; and signed an agreement of partnership with a quantifier certified for GHG credit calculation.

Prolab was honored in 2007 by the Order of the Chemists of Quebec with the PerformAS 2007 Award from the Economic and Development Society of Quebec, for his innovative realizations in the field of bio-lubricants and products which contribute directly to greenhouse gas emissions reductions.

The Éconergie Transport program was finalist over 1,750 companies for the Innovation 2007 Award of the AMETVS (Association of Manufacturers of Equipments of Transport and Special Vehicles) for the innovative character of its program of energy efficiency for transport.

In 2008, the Éconergie Transport program finished second during the Official reception of Le Grand Prix d'excellence in transport of the AQTR (Quebecois Association of the Transport and Roads), in the Environment and technical realization category..
