100% synthetic (group III) engine oil with antifriction treatment

Characteristics and benefits                       

Pro-3 crankcase lubricants:

• Reduced Inventory. One oil for small motors, gasoline cars, diesel cars and trucks as well as off-road diesel that require HD CJ-4 oil.
• Antifriction Gradation: from drag reducer, antiwear and extreme pressure. Each coming i nto action as localized molecular pressure-temperature conditions change.
• Mechanical Stability: 45% more shear stable viscosity improvers than what is required by GF-4-5.
• Durability: Designed to last 2x longer than a basic formulation. Will last at least 5 000 km in all driving conditions. In ideal conditions could last upward of 12 000 km. Less time at the shop, less oil in the environment, oil savings.
• Factory Clean: High detergency and dispersant concentration. Avoid hot spots that can cause catastrophic failures.
• Motor wear: reduced for motor longevity. Perfect for those who own.
• Demulsifying to avoid water issues in cold climates.
• Defoaming: very high air removal ability to improve heat transfer.

Applications

• Perfect for harsh driving conditions: High > 5000 RPM (sporty), Trailer load (RVs, etc.), High external temperature (>30°C), Steep hills.
• Owners of their vehicle who wish to go beyond the manufacturer’s design of 200 000 km motor longevity.
• After the user has extended his driving pass the oil limits or when the oil to be changed is very dirty indicating possible deposits.
• For older vehicles (>120 000km) up-grade one viscosity in particular if they consume oil or during summer months.
• 5W20: viscosity @ 100°C very close to being a W30. Respects the manufacturer’s requirement but with more protection & less wear especially during harsh driving.
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommended viscosity grades & oil-intervals during warranty.

Not for the following:

• Crankcases where contamination is the limits oil durability to 3000 km or less. Use low cost oil and change your oil more frequently.
• Older vehicles (>200 000km) with sludge-varnish as leak prevention.
• Initial fill-up where wear is required.
• Biogas or sour-gas engines.
• Gasoline containing more than 15% ethanol (E15 or more).
• Starting temperatures < –30°C without use of an oil heater. 

Prolab recommends the use of oil analysis at a minimum at oil change, oil level verification every 3-5 fill-ups and visual-tactile oil inspection to detect abnormal situations such as contamination. 

Use with these: 

• DM-30: prior to switching to Pro-3.
• TNI-88: gasoline additive to clean and keep clean the whole combustion system. Important for those who do not drive pass 3500 RPM daily or those using gasoline with only the required detergency.
• DBF-4: diesel additive to clean the entire combustion system and control water icing (demulsifying).
• TCC-07: Diesel combustion catalyst designed to lower the DPF regeneration temperature and increase fuel lubricity.
• PL-100: lubricate all locks and hinges at oil change. Use on battery terminals to prevent rusting and water related failures.
• Prosol: to clean carpets and seats especially coffee stains.
• AF-400: to grease bearings and all other greased parts.
• 75W90 or 75W140: GL-5 differential gear oils.
• ALD-3: de-icer, lubricant and anti-corrosion for pneumatic systems.

Protect against dust to avoid contaminating the product. As with all petroleum products, good hygiene should always be practiced. Avoid prolonged contact to skin, eye splashing or ingestion. Not intended to repair mechanical defects.
