Catalyst treatment with antifriction treatment
Description
This diesel fuel additive (ULSD or LSD) is Eco efficient and exclusive to Prolab. It is adapted to the newer motor systems with high injection pressure equipped or not with DPF, EGR, Catalyzer and Urea system (NOx). It is formulated to reduce fuel consumption, GHG, soot particles (opacity), active regeneration frequency of the DPF and to increase the durability (MTBF) of DPFs.
Applications
Use directly in the centralized bulk tank at a ratio of 1:2000. Alternatively, add the required quantity by measuring manually or with a Prolab dosing system.
Characteristics & Benefits.
- Multifunctional additive incorporating combustion catalyst, detergent and antifriction in a safe carrier around open flames.
- Stable alone or mixed with diesel fuel. No need to inject continuously with fuel.
- Does not contain nanoparticles to ensure environmental & safety compliance.
- Reduces drastically the frequency of DPF active regeneration with >50% reduction expected. Fine soot particles are agglomerated and are thus easier to stop by the DPF.
- Deeper and more complete regeneration of the DPF. Brings the pressure differential closer to that of a new filter. Saves fuel associated with active regeneration
while extending the life-span of the filter element.
- Catalyst treats all surfaces of the combustion system that thus become pre-catalyst in the reduction of NOx, CO & HC.
- Reduces significantly emissions before and after the catalyzer-DPF system including opacity, soot particulates, HC, NOx and CO.
- Accelerates the combustion to transform a higher proportion of the fuel’s energy into mechanical energy instead of heat (~8% improvement). Combustion is more complete, more HPs are available and static torque is higher. Reduces fuel consumption and GHGs (CO2eq) by over 3% when HP (work) demand remains the same.

- Increases fuel lubricity reducing friction and wear of the pumping system.
- Cleans and keep clean: injectors, valves and combustion chamber.
What TCC-07
is not a :
- DeIcer or demulsifier to control water where there is a coalescing filter (Prolab DBF-4).
- Cetane booster.
- DeGel : pour point (Prolab TM-40) or cloud point depressant.
Use with :
- DBF-4 injected separately to the fuel in winter.
- Additive dosing system by Prolab (optional).
- TM-40 injected separately to the fuel in winter if an antigelling is required.
- Prolab Cetane booster if an improvement is desired.
