Description

TD-234 antifriction treatment for gearboxes high-quality components innovative formula reduces friction, wear and overheating when added to gear oil, which allows for lowering operating temperatures.
TD-234 has anti-foaming properties.  It increases oil resistance to oxidation, prevents varnish accumulation and protects gears against wear, peeling, rust and corrosion.  Furthermore, it also extends mechanical parts and equipment life expectancy by providing quick lubrication with each start.

Types of Application
Use TD-234 in gearboxes (speed reducers and increasers) with monograde or multigrade oils.  TD-234 antifriction treatment for gearboxes is suitable for helical bevel gears, skew bevel gears and straight teeth gears.

Directions for Use
Substitute the equivalent of 10% of the total volume of gear oil with TD-234.  For best results, use PROLAB's DE-25 Decontaminant prior to adding TD-234 to new oil.  Change filter if necessary.

Notes
TD-234 replaces the following PROLAB products: TD-20, TD-30, and TD-40+

Warning
TD-234 is not recommended for soft metal gearboxes, worm gears and gearboxes with a breaking system.
TD-234 is not intended to repair mechanical defects.
