BIO-CABLE
lubricant for steel cables

Description

PROLAB BIO-CABLE's exclusive biodegradable and ecological formula provides it with exceptional properties.

Characteristics and Benefits

BIO-CABLE's unique formulation with a high-performance synthetic oil base makes it biodegradable, ecological, highly resistant to rust, wear and extreme pressure while providing it with superior lubricating action.

BIO-CABLE does not run, clings to surfaces, lubricates efficiently, reduces friction and has a high load resistance.

BIO-CABLE lubricant remains fluid in very low temperatures:
Its low viscosity point allows it to penetrate deeply to lubricate the centre of the cable, protect it against rust and corrosion thus extending its life expectancy.

BIO-CABLE is environmentally friendly:
Biodegradable and ecological, and does not contain any heavy metals, nitrous compounds or organochlorinated.

BIO-CABLE is clean:
Almost colorless, it does not stain and leaves a lubricating film on which dust particles and other contaminants have very little adherence.

BIO-CABLE is safe:
Dielectric up to 36 kv.

Types of Application

BIO-CABLE is ideally suited for operations with a high risk of environmental damage in case of accidental spills, such as: projects near bodies of water, harbor installations, cranes, travelling cranes, ships, etc.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET safety data sheet

Directions for Use

To apply BIO-CABLE use an oilcan, a brush, an atomizer or simply dip the cable into the product. Use BIO-CABLE in proportions of approximately 1% of the cable weight.

Notes

Negative backlash on the corporate image and dire financial setbacks resulting from an accident can be substantially reduced by using an environmentally friendly product.

Warning

Verify compatibility of BIO-CABLE with some steel cables fabricated with internal plastic layers (polypropylene, etc.). Contains solvent. May attack some rubber material. We recommend to check compatibility.
